   "For those of you who don’t know what the hell is going on, my name’s Darren. I am a musician, part time idiot and uh… that’s a full time job, actually. Part time musician I should say. But I have a couple of things going on in my life. I am in a production company called StarKid, and when I’m not doing that, I’m in a little TV show called Glee. Both are equally cool and groovy, and I want to do a little bit of both for everybody today. But just as a kind of general introduction again, let’s pretend that none of us has ever met before, ever. Before all this crazy stuff I used to play in bars and cafes and stuff like that for like, tips, and I was just playing my favorite songs just so I could pay my rent. And what’s funny is that I basically do what I used to do in bars on TV now. And it’s weird, because I’m singing the same pop songs that I would’ve sang anyway in a piano for like, ten bucks an hour which was pretty cool, just in a bigger platform."
